Cannabis
Seeds
There
are two distinct methods of planting cannabis seeds that
produce different results.
Growers may choose to plant cannabis seeds in outdoor soil
or to grow their them through hydroponics, a technique of
growing plants (without soil) in water containing dissolved
nutrients.
Planting cannabis seeds outdoors produces
- A taller,
spindlier plant
- Fewer, but
larger and weightier floral buds
- Stronger
floral odor sometimes reminiscent of citrus fruit
Planting with hydroponics produces
- A fuller,
more robust plant
- More but
smaller and lighter floral buds
- Less floral
odor
The THC content of plants grown from cannabis seeds planted
outdoors is usually on the high end, around 25%. Cannabis
seeds planted in natural outdoor soil create a plant with
a tight small ball of roots that no doubt contributes
to the plants leaner growth.
While soil grown seeds produce fewer buds per plant that
never become anywhere near the size of those grown with
hydroponics, the floral clusters make up for these shortcomings
in size and odor.
Depending
on where you live, growing seeds outdoors, away from your
home reduces your risk of possibly being criminally investigated.
However, deer love plants grown from cannabis seeds and
there is always the risk that someone may stumble upon
your crop and relieve you of it.
